When It Comes to Knees, We Know How to Help.

It may look pretty simple, but the knee is a complex and delicate joint. And when your knees start to hurt due to a sports injury, arthritis, a fall or gradual deterioration, we can provide an array of solutions to help you get back to feeling your best.

From routine, non-invasive care to full joint replacement, our board-certified orthopedic specialists and surgeon's have the state-of-the-art resources and proven expertise to perform even the most complex knee procedures. Depending on your individual condition, there may be a number of treatment options available to you. You'll want to consult your primary care physician or an orthopedic specialist when determining the best course of treatment for your knees, but here are just a few of the services we provide:

Non-Surgical Care

In many cases, it may be possible to minimize or even eliminate your knee pain through alternative treatments and approaches. One of our board-certified orthopedic specialists can work with you to determine if any of the following solutions may be appropriate for your particular condition:

  • Physical therapy
  • Changes in your exercise routine or modification of your activities
  • Prescription medication
  • Steroid injections to reduce pain and inflammation

Arthroscopic Repairs

Often performed on an outpatient basis, Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure in which a small, fiber-optic viewing instrument is inserted into a joint, allowing a surgeon to examine the joint and assess the injury and perform treatment. Typical benefits of Arthroscopy include:

  • Smaller incisions, faster healing and less scarring
  • Many patients are able to return home the same day
  • Athletes and others who are in good physical condition may (in some cases) return to athletic activities within a few weeks

Joint Replacement

Popular among those suffering from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, knee replacement surgery is a procedure that attempts to fully replicate your knee's natural movements and abilities. Knee replacement is inpatient surgery and generally requires a longer recovery time. Benefits include:

  • Helps relieve pain and restore function to severely diseased or damaged joints
  • Replaces damaged bone and cartilage with artificial components made of metal alloys, high-grade plastics and polymers
